To my knowledge it can't. I thought there was a place that did it but it seems they dont.

No it cant be. From my understanding it needs to be shipped with the ability to get custom tunes. Most other vendors just deal with the canned tunes, ironically more then you would imagine are not aware of custom tunes, let alone that ere are products from Edge that can handle them.

Ya I hear ya ... lordco has edge cs and cts on sale right now for 425 and 550 canadian which is pretty good, but you mention custom tunes and you get head scratching.

You can buy the Edge CS (or CTS) from any supplier and order your custom tunes from PHP.

PHP writes the tunes and uploads them to the Fusion server. You then start Fusion, connect the CS/CTS, and the custom tunes will be uploaded to the CS/CTS.

Note that Edge just announced the CS/CTS platform will support up to 20 tunes. The details are being worked out, but it appears that you will be able to have all the canned tunes PLUS any custom tunes you ordered from PHP.

Generally speaking, for U.S. customers ordering directly from PHP (with custom tunes) is less expensive than ordering from another retailer and then ordering custom tunes.

However, I understand the Canuckistan shipping charges are pretty high, so it might be cheaper to buy locally and order the tunes.

I thought if you wanted custom tunes you had to order from the tunes supplier? the cts is 553.99 cad right now ... I bought it to try it (30 day money back from lordco if not happy) I downloaded fusion from the disk and it would not work on my mac... I went to a pc... fusion off disk would not let me get a new user id at all!! ... I downloaded fusion from edge web site, would not let me get a new user id at all either... returned it to lordco

?

I'm also noticing it doesn't matter what it says in the manual it still may or mayn't work on my truck it would seem that the f-150 is very limited on the cts.

PHP is the only company that can write custom tunes for the Edge product line.

If you didn't register on Edge's website, then Fusion won't update the platform.

Depending on how long the unit sat on the store's shelf (perhaps before your truck's calibration was released), Edge may have released new tunes to cover the additional factory calibrations.

I would contact Edge if you have questions/issues.

It's gone up. Winter is here so the last couple of tanks have been lower.

Before CTS:
Miles______Gallons______Actual MPG
17663.0____1015.37______17.40

After CTS:
Miles______Gallons______Actual MPG
3120.0_____169.4_______18.42

Please note that the before numbers include towing the boat. I haven't been fishing since I installed the CTS (which sucks!).
