the consensus from all I've heard on here and MY experience has been the opposite, that some of the edge tuners created problems with the trannies...
I personally had the sct on two excursions and it ran flawlessly until they were traded in on the newer 6.7 trucks... then I sold the sct to someone on here that is still using it.= (I presume!) Not into tuning anymore on either of the two new 13's in my signature, they perform well enough as they are ! good luck on your decision...

A tuner would be the last on my list of things to buy.
Do ALL maintenance items first as well as ALL the common upgraded parts for your 6.0. Make sure everything is 100% before the tuner comes.
I would be doing a ton of research on here if you already haven't done so. You will get better responses to your questions if you go ask the guys in the 6.0 forum. LOTS of great knowledge from those guys.
