just installed the HPx and its leaking on the passenger side. it feels pretty darn tight and im a little worried about trying to tighten anymore. looks like its coming from the bottom fitting that goes in to the head. how much can you tighten those? how risky is it or easy is it to strip them?
in order to tighten the bottom one is it necessary to loosen the top one a little but?
The plugs in the head are ORB, and shouldn't need torqued to much. What kind of HPx is it? Mine is a SS tube that uses flareless fittings so If you over torque the line it can get damaged.
Shawn, double check the O-ring and make sure it's not kinked. You want to tighten it just enough to seat the o-ring without destroying it. Also make sure you clean the area real well so that you can spot any leaks right away.

So it doesn't have to be super tight to seal off correctly...thanks guys I'll redo it and see if I have better luck
Shawn, good job getting it figured out. Now y'all gonna take care of Cam Newton this week so the tiggers have less to play for when we meet them in Atlanta next week?
