All the info you need can be had by doing a search in this forum and writing down what other guys have used. There is no one answer. Every guy has done it differently. You just have to decide what is best for you and go for it. There is usually welding involved, fabrication, and making of or buying lines from p/s pump to unit.

You could always ask the junk yard to pull the power steering pump, hoses, hydroboost, etc for you. There's also a good chance someone is parting out a truck in your area that has the hydroboost in it and will run you a good deal. That's what I did...found a guy parting out an F450. I did have to get the F250 master cylinder though. If you do go used, make sure the hydroboost unit does not have any leaks!
