stupid question

I'm wondering if I switched my intercooler boots by mistake?? When your standing facing the engine, isn't the cold intercooler pipe on the right? I've seen pictures of the map hose attached on the right side of the spider, isn't that the way to attach the map hose, on the cold side of the intercooler? Anyway, my hoses (black) on the left side say cold on them. Right side (blue) hot. I don't know why I never noticed this before. I think it was Jose's picture I saw with the map connected on the right side of the spider. I'm rambling, sorry, its been a long day. Hope someone can make sense out of this post.

Pretty sure the drivers side is the hot side, which goes through the "cooler" into the cold pipe to the engine.

heres a thread about relocating the sensor to the hot side... Might be worth readin.

driver side is indeed the hot side and is the side people are rerouting their map lines to.

I don't know if its my computer or not but this thread didn't get posted so I made another, sorry. Anyway, right side hot so I have my boots on correct. But, I guess I remember reading it wrong that the map line should be to the cold side, that't where my confusion came in. Map to hot. Thanks guys!!

How can you switch the boots by mistake, which ones?
Yeap my map line is connected on the HOT (drivers side) of the spider, that in reallity is the LEFT side.

Yes I read several post here and there that rerouting to the HOT side you will have less turbo lag.

In the stock location the map line is in the RIGTH side (passengers side) of the Y-PIPE and both sides are hot without an IC, but when you install the IC is recommended to rerout it to the HOT side to reduce the turbo lag.

I don't know where I got the idea that the drivers side was the cold side. I'll have to learn how to read again, LOL. Thanks
