why would you do this??

ok well most of you no my auto trany went out a few weeks a go, right after i started talking bout a 5 speed swap, wich seams common from what iv see, but any ways the guy be for me spent at least 4 grand on an ats trany, and put a junk stock tc back in, well i was really mad about that untell this weekend, i thought what the hell i wanna take the pan of and see what it looks like in there, ok and a cheap tc is one thing but why the hell was there no trany filter in it???? how ever i did find a few nuts and an allen wrench,. i mean really why throw away 4 grand??? sorry just mad about some of the things pep do to save a buck!

Was the case of the tranny purple?

As far as I know all of the ATS trannies are purple.

yeah the top is the bottom has been undercoated or some spray in liner its some nasty stuff, but yeah top is purple

ATS probably didn't put the filter in there and said it increases flow to keep the tranny cooler. lol

lol true that travis! but i wanna stick with thinking the guy that had it be for me was a jack in the box! there is so much he just half @ssed! i would like to think iam doing things the right way! with your guys help and input as well!

I hope I'm misunderstanding what you said here, but did you mean you removed the tranny pan and found "a few nuts and an allen wrench" INSIDE your tranny?
