Electrical problems in 79 F250

Problem started after it started getting really cold (I live in Montana) I turned the key to on position and all the lights worked. Tried to start and lost all power after it quickly turned the starter but failed to start. Turned the ignition off and tried to start again but had no power at all (no interior or exterior lights work) I replaced the battery, starter solenoid and ignition.. If I let it sit for a extended period of time the lights sometimes come back on and if I turn the key on I can hear the starter engage but as soon as I try to start I loose all power again. Any advise before I send it in to a shop would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Just for the heck of it, put it in neutral and try to start it,
