Hey guys, working on getting my engine and tranny in the 73 and the linkage I have is junk. Does anyone have part numbers so I can try to locate parts.
Truck is a 73 4x4 C-6 tranny. Parts I have are off of a 78 supercab and With some new holes in the frame I think it should work out fine. I need kind of a u shaped bracket the supports the rod, rod, and linkage that goes from cross rod to trans. Bushings also please.
Went to junkyard today and the good parts were either lying on my back in a pudlle or missing already.
Thanks and let me know if I need more info.
Look at the illustration from the Ford parts catalog. Which parts do you need?
Post the basic p/n from the illustration and I'll look up the numbers.

First of all what books do you have and where did you get them? I have the 4 book manual but it does not have part numbers.

Thanks for the info, woke up this morning and figured out that I could cut the floor on a wreck at junkyard and pull the bellcrank assembly out of a truck. There was a 4 inch deep puddle and the wheels were missing so I could not get to it yesterday.
Thanks again.
