4wd shifter mount
The pot metal mount for the 4WD shift lever on the side of the transmission on my Son's 94' F150 broke off where it mounts. Ford part price is outrageous!
Anybody have one I could buy off of a parts truck.

DORMAN(part#600602) sells on for about half the price of fords or you can have it welded
i broke mine, had it welded then added grease fitting. It will never freeze again

Looks like it's gonna' be welded. The grease fitting is a great idea. Thank's to both of you.

The older units where you pulled the lever to the left to engage 4L instead of pushing on the **** are much more sturdy.

How do you weld pot metal?
I'd didn't think that could be done...

I did not know that.
I found a replacement piece from a junk yard.
I think it was about $60.00, they pulled it for me.
