leaks at carb could be a bunch of stuff, but probably is a blown diaphram. Carb probably is all dried out and needs a cleaning and/or rebuild. Will the engine fire if you use starting fluid?
My old 78 Bronco usually gets a shot of starting fluid the first time I start it, if it has been sitting for a month or two. Just makes it easier to fire up. Then it is OK if I drive it every few days. I just may let it sit for a month or two at a time. I use it mainly to play off road and to do some rock crawling. It is bunches of fun, but the body is pretty beat up.
