its in the tech folder that I suggested you look at.
its on the right valve cover, its the only sensor that goes thre the valve cover on that side. it has 3 wires and next to it is the gpcm.
On '03's and early '04's, yes - but on your '06 it's on the passenger's side valve cover. You need to look at the "2005 6L Bible Update" link in the Table Of Contents for the correct component locations for your Model Year.
Well I now know that it's not the icp or the hpop. The relay under the hood on the right side of the motor looking at it is not working. If we pull the first relay on the left side does not have power going to it if we pull it out with the key on. If we jump it the truck starts right up. Any ideas?
Well I unplugged the icp sensor and it still did not start.
Also when turning the key waiting for the glow plug light to go off and I don't hear that buzzing noise it usually made.
Would taking the radio out put the truck into some kind of safe mode?
You need to check the FICM, FICM relay, etc. because it's the injectors that make the buzzing sound at start up. Also, check your fuel pump if you can't hear it. If the cigar lighter isn't working then the OBDII port/ DLC connector probably won't work because of a blown 10a fuse that I think is listed as cigar lighter in the manual. Don't remember the fuse number off the top of my head. Sounding more and more like electrical problems here.
