stick with OEM fillters and about the bio diesel, yes i hate to travel thru IL. I try to fillup just before the border so i can make it accross before I need fuel again.
Last time I was thru there this summer I saw alot of B11. Our trucks are designed for no more that B5.
I would run a cetane booster designed to be compatable with ULSD.
Um senix english please hahaha whats a cetance booster? and ulsd? whats that? sorry man im new to these small diesels our big trucks never needed this much attension

Cetane is like Octane rating for gas.
ULSD=Ultra low sulfur diesel.
2008 and up model years are required to run ULSD or for Ford 2008-10 model years no more that B5 bio-fuel.
2011 model years fors can run a higher B20 if they want.
Can't help you with bio. Couple guys on here say it's a mileage killer and a problem for the truck. Couple say they use it all the time with no ill effects and a couple others say it's OK if you cut it with diesel Kleen. As far as I know I've only used it once, in Utah I think, had no choice. I coudn't tell any difference but I use Dieasel Kleen every tankful of anything and I only used bio that one time. Logic tells me that if it was really a serious problem somebody would have let it be widely known by now. It could impact mileage though and the folks who demand we use what THEY think is right wouldn't care. They probably don't own a diesel, or a pickup for that matter.
Yeah its all weve got here even my fule suppler at work only brings bio for our big trucks. I do notice my exhaust clean thing happens alot ill check into the diesel kleen though thanks
