i am looking as well... i ordered my roll up cover from autoanything and they said it came with a seal, but they sent me a t shirt instead. I'm all about free shirts but would have rather had the tailgate seal
I have used the adhesive backed tape that is used for the seal between a truck cap and the bed rails. Two layers at the bottom of the tailgate will keep a lot of dust from rolling in from underneath.
Some dust and moisture will get into the bed from the gaps at the edges of the tailgate, tho.
I've just ordered my bed cover from the local shop. Told them to put a seal on the order/invoice also. Don't know what's coming, but I did ask if the vertical gaps, as well as the horizontal gaps would be sealed. They said yes.

Maybe you're supposed to use the T-shirt as a seal?
I've got one that I'll never use. I figured it would take one load of stone or loam to screw it up, so I never bothered to install it. If anyone wants it. PM me with an address. I'll throw it in the mail. Hey better that someone use it vs it ending up in a landfill.

Damnit! The one I ordered is already on it's way from my shop. I'd tell them to cancel it but it's my first purchase through them and I'd hate to make a poor impression.
The only real reason I'm getting one is that the bed is serving as a "trunk" often filled with the wife's luggage, etc. So I'm attempting to keep as much mist and dust out of the bed as possible in combo with the tonneau. I know it's not 100% certain, but for $25 it can't hurt.
The seal will be in the mail later today to Brians97F250Crew. Sorry Kirk, he beat you out by a couple hours on the message. Glad you guys jumped on the offer. Should have thought of this long ago.
On my F150 I had to take a tube of caulking and seal all the joints, seams, and holes in the bed, as well as use the tailgate seal to keep dust out of the back end of my truck.
My shop ordered the tailgate seal from Extang. It's nice. Went on easy. Seals very tightly. It actually makes such a good seal that it keeps the tailgate from rattling ever so slightly like it did without the seal. I believe it was $26
Cabellas 19.99 someone did a review on a 2010 said it worked great. Search tailgate seal on their site. I ordered one for my work truck.
Just happened to be in the neighborhood so stopped and picked up the Cabellas version. Just enough to do the whole tailgate, went on easy. The big test for me will be how well it holds up during the summer heat. It does seal pretty good. Makes the tailgate a bit harder to shut. Figure that will change after a few days of compression.

Mine did the same. It has now been on since Friday, mid-day. It's been open and closed a bunch now, since I was at hunt camp all weekend. Has seen rain, and temps from 32 to 65. So far still takes the same force to close it. Time will tell.
As a follow up to this, I took out my bed mat so I could clean out a bunch of hay. After washing out the bed, I took a towel and crawled up into the bed to dry it. After looking closer, I realized the bed seal is not the only holes in the bed. I may try some tape, or sealant to close up the holes between the side panels and the floor.
