actually its called a DPFE sensor. it stands for differential pressure feedback egr. basically it tells the pcm where the egr position should be and its referenced by the exhaust flow. just look for a sensor with two rubber hoses connected to it. it may be a small metallic looking rectangle. they fail quite often.

Thanks, I found it. I took my truck in because I had a check eng light and trany problem. And since I had this stupid extended waranty thing i thought i would try it out. So far they don't cover the DPFE thing and they have to tear the trany all apart before they decide if it is covered. great waranty.:-(
