Jim,
I spent the good part of this morning reading this thread all the way thru.
All I can say is AWESOME. Looks nice and it looks like you are having fun doing what you like to do. This is going to be one very sharp ride. I like it alot.
cut the frame horns off to make it a little smaller
removed the shocks
removed the upper control arms
tomorrow i have to remove the ball joints and reinstall them in the upper control arms upside down... then we will switch the drivers and pass sides arms and remount them giving us a better ball joint angle when laid out
Jim, what is that advantage of the chevy front clip?
Looks great buddy
the chevy clip as a control arms set up opposed to fords i beams
even with the drop i beams i had i wouldnt have gotten the truck to lay all the way out
with the chevy clip i can detach the upper arms, lower arms and spindle as one and attach it to my frame in the location that will allow it to lay out flat
hope this makes sense ... i does when its in front of me

Seriously, I guess its sweet she was worried about you - but why was she worried about THAT??
This is definitely a crazy build. Seeing it in person really puts it in perspective! I don't think there is a single part of it that doesn't intimidate the hell out of me... Hats off to you guys for having the ***** to do stuff like this - I can't wait to see the finished product!!!

"its an honor to be nicknamed by me"
you are now among the ranks of "cash money , skeet skeet bang bang" and "cookie pony"
and something about missing Daisy
Ok, well I'm not upset at all about the nickname - but wanting to take my pup away cuts DEEP! Btw, I have to totally agree about Katie being the best GF ever. She's a keeper! Good work man.
