Good morning Jim and the rest of CT. Last day of work for me. I am soooooo looking forward to the 4 day weekend. Unlike my last vacation I don't have any manual labor schedule for this one.
I am sending my brother to PA with the family for Thanksgiving in hopes of talking my Pap into giving me a gun, or at least selling me one. I want another rifle. Maybe a shotgun someday. All I have is a .22. Always shot my buddy's guns.(most of which he got from his grandfather)
It took my brother an I about 40 minutes to get through Waterbury on the way to Torrington to pick up my new parts. I was going to do that today, but thought it wiser to avoid as much traffic as possible. Unfortunately one of my good friends is in Danbury this weekend visiting his fiance's family, so I am driving out to Newtown to have some 5 guys burgers and fries and see him and his lady. Should be an interesting trip. Typical time is about 40 minutes. I plan for triple that. OUCH! On a positive note, my truck already felt the effects of the go fast parts, and they were only in the bed of the truck, haha. Ran smooth as silk and purred right along after picking the stuff up.
welp, woke up today and could not get out of bed..neck and back were giving me shooting pain everytime i went to move. ill be heading to the doctor very soon...not exactly how i wanted to start a vacation.

Based on your family's recent past, it was just a matter of time before you ended up injured and in pain somehow. You guys really need to have a family meeting about that.
I almost forgot! My truck passed it's 100,000 mile birthday last night on the trip to get the parts! I'm gonna have to have a celebration somehow.
i see jim and miles' lights are on. whats going on boys? i am getting ready to roll down to a thanksgiving/congratulatory party in new haven by lighthouse park. i just have to finish looking at powdercoat colors for the quad and im out.
not too much just hanging out.. cant get anything done in the dark so i had to stop waxing my truck and trying to get the brake dust off my moms wheels on her car
