Did you recently upgrade Office? If so apparently what you have is an unwanted side effect. Easiest way out, I`m told, is just to download a free spelling checker to fix the problem.
since i have no idea what office is, i will have to say no i did not upgrade it.
the only thing with adding a spellchecker is that spell checkers do not work in email programs. you have to use the outlook express spell checker.
The issue is caused my Microsoft and their infinite stupidity..
They changed the spell checker in Office 2007 and the default was French..
You need to either install proofing tools from an earlier version of Office or a third party dictionary like ISpell..
ieSpell works very good, but it will only work with IE. it will not work with outlook express. the link that lazy k posted will ad the english version of spell checker to outlook express.
