Unhappy Help please 6.0 problems

I have a 2003 F350 with a 6.0 with 120K miles on it. It has very little get up and go, and smokes pure white smoke when it is under a load however if you hold it to the floor it will go up to about 2500 RPM and act like a miss then go to 3000 RPM then hang there for a few seconds then it acts like someone kicked the afterburner in and go almost instantly to redline and no more white smoke and if you run it up and down like that a few times it runs like a charm for a little while then back to its normal sluggish and hesitating and sometimes cackle/rattle when you let off of it and it comes back to idle. A little background I took the turbo apart and cleaned it about 5000 miles ago, replaced the EGR valve, camshaft position sensor, ICP sensor and took the EBP sensor out and cleaned it and checked the tube, it also has a fresh oil change with Rotella, as well as fresh fuel filters. I run Howes injector cleaner in it regularly. I hooked up a Snap-On analyzer to it that I borrowed and the only code now in it is P0500 Speed sensor, however the speedometer works perfect. I do have a small exhaust leak I cannot find could that have anything to do with it? Please if anyone has any Ideas I would really appreciate it, as with all 6.0 owners I am tired of working in it and getting nowhere. It has been doing this for about the last 20-25K progressively getting worse. Thank you.

Is the coolant level dropping? If so you may have a bad EGR cooler. Or, even worse, you blew a head gasket.

Thanks you all for the quick replies, however I am not loosing coolant, and the best I can tell the FICM is good I read on here about checking voltages on it and they were all right where they should be. and the oil looks normal not milky or anything. As far as driving it it is annoying but I have been so unhappy with this engine if it blows I have a 7.3 that will drop in it I just am not ready for all that work yet and I would like to at least get 200K out of the 6.0 so I feel like I got something, the 7.3 is the engine Ford should have stuck with, last one I had went 300K hard driving and towing and still ran like a top only parts I ever replaced on it was glow plugs.

What does the smoke smell like?

FYI the 7.3 wouldn't pass emissions PLUS if you detuned a 6OH to 7.3 HP and TQ it would probably run a lot longer...

You need to figure out which injector(s) is acting up. I would suggest that you get the codes read at a dealership. I could also try looking at the exhaust piping w/ an IR temperature gun to see which side and which cylinder was cooler than the rest. An injector dumping fuel can potentially cause serious issues.
