mystery problem

Need help with mystery problem…
198k miles on 2007 6.0 F350 King Ranch 4X4 with aftermarket radio & remote start/alarm system
Symptom:
40 mile drive with 2000 lbs in bed, new to me truck on first trip. No codes on the way down, stop to pick up friends, shut truck off, check engine light comes on.
Loss of power, had to floor it to get it to go, lots of black smoke, no white smoke.
Problem cleared itself, then came back 20 miles later.
Truck instantly died like it was out of fuel, had to be towed back home.
Troubleshooting:
Checked FCIM, found it at 46 volts.
Checked fuel – full tank.No bubbles in fuel filter, changed fuel filters.
Stock oil cap, refills within 10 seconds of cranking engine – changed oil anyway.
Did ICP sensor – pulled it off, truck fired right up.Ordered new ICP & pigtail, replaced.Truck did not fire up.
Let sit for 8 days.Truck fired up, ran for about 10 minutes, stalled out like a loss of fuel again.
Pulled the EGR, cleaned, made sure everything worked – was not that bad.Reinstalled.

I have checked & tested every fuse & relay, pulled on all wiring chafe areas… Have not started cutting writing harnesses apart to check for chafe areas.Cannot run the auto-enginuity code reader since I have an iPad and it’s not compatible.

i have read the no start and loss of power stickies ( who ever made those THANK YOU!!) i have done everthing but the code reader and air test in the icp port

What am I missing?Any ideas as to where I should start looking?

Thanks for your time & help,
Brian

Are you getting both sync and keeping them. 46v is low on the ficm as well.
What is your actual ICP pressure and desired and IPR %? While cranking and running?

You need something to read live data to tell what the pcm is seeing to get where I was going. Pretty much a must have on a 6.0 if you want to do your own work/test.

ok got the auto enginity code reader

here is what i got on the ficum is not in sync
icp pressure will hit 280 psi on cranking ( i know it need 500) if i pull the conector it still doesent help) bran new icp and pig tail solderd in and one wire at a time
if i crank for a while 10 secounds i will through pressure somtimes up past the 500 psi and then fire right up

if i let it sit for a day and charge that batteries it will start after a long crank and run for 5 to 7 minuites then shut off

the fuel bowl will look 1/2 empty if i check it after it has run but not be filled to the top. if i cycle the key it will fill right up.

when it has died i can not start it unless i let it sit for a 1/2 a day.

if i push on the accelerator it will run but can not move the truck even tough it runs strong and sounds like normal.
if i let off the accelorator it stalls right out but if i let it idel it will idel by its self for 5 to 7 miniutes then dies like it is out of fuel

tank is full and fresh fuel

what should i look at now or what other test do i need to perform?

No Ficm sync? double check the three ficm Connections the plastic clip may be broke and the connection may just barely be in for contact also the FICM relay may be on the fritz that's under the drivers battery plastic cover in the PCM, 280 psi may need to look at the IPR and stand pipe dummy plugs , the IPR screen may have a hole or the spring is closed position.
