Currently I have some sort of Ford spring on the front of my truck that provides an approximate 4" lift. Does anyone know what truck these came out of.
Second I'm planning to drop my truck back down to stock height with stock tires in hopes of a better ride and better mileage. I know a junk yard nearby that I can get leafs at about $25 each, but I think all they have is from Gas burner 250's and 350's. So my question is are they the same as is in a diesel truck?
And as soon as i swap out the springs and wheels they'll be for sell by the way.
I was going to guess F-350 spring w/ the solid axel Dana 60 swap that's on tfront of your rig. I'm also going to guess that you did not perform the swap since you don't know where the axel or springs came from. I thought that on the SAS the axel & spring raise it 4 in.

That could also be true. I didn't pay any attention to if OP had a 250 or 350

No I did the axle swap. The leafs were already there with the TTB axle. The axle swap only raised the front about an inch. The axle I bought for $550 but the springs were on it when I bought the truck.
There is an extra leaf in that spring pack from stock. So you could remove usually the bottom leaf and drop about 1.5 inches. Also the 250 springs are thicker than the 350 springs so you might get a better ride if you get F-350 diesel springs. I can't say that for sure though.
My stock F-250 Diesel TTB springs are 2 full leaves w/ EW117 97 and F5TAWA stamped near the ft eye w/ fomoco logo, the brace that wraps the spring has EWB2 and 1367 stamped on it. The SAS swap parts I have set aside are from an 80's F-350 (gas I think) has only 2 full leaves also w/ a diff set of characters on it. Your springs look like it has 3 full leaves so I'd have to agree it's prob an F-450 or up especially since it looks like your springs also have the fomoco logo. Dumb ? has anyone also changed the front piviot/shackel w/ a longer one?
