I tested the console rattle today.
It seems it wouldn't matter if I sealed the lid better, it's the latch/handle that rattles.
(Although sealing it better would put additional pressure on the latch possibly preventing a rattle.)

I can have it unlatched (holding onto the lid) and hit it carefully with my fist and it rattles. It only does this on screwed up roads and I slow down for the bad spots I'm familar with anyways so it doesn't rattle most of the time. When it does, everything else rattling almost drowns it out (stuff in door pocket).

Ok, So I'm not the only one. I'm gonna have it fixed next week. Or at least tell my service writer and see what he recommends.

I got a rattle some where in the driver's door. It almost sounds as if the door is rubbing on something. I only hear it on gravels roads and bumps. I'm hoping when I get around to doing the door seal mod it will fix it.
I also had the same sound expect it was really pronounced when I had two passengers in the back of the cab. I'm always trying to figure out what it is but no luck.

I have pin pointed it down, i KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT IS. It's the latch itself. The little l shaped latch that hooks the lid shut. Very loose.

Interesting. I may mention this next time I'm there.
Does that plastic latch move at all now when you have the lid open and push on it?

I have a rattle in my dash now, too (no, not the engine).
I think it's behind the radio unit and hitting the dash doesn't stop it.
Depending on the RPM's, I can hear it over the engine (which isn't difficult since I can hardly hear that thing) and with the radio on a few notches.
I'm going to have to track that one down before I go crazy.

When the lid is open, the first latch itself was loose. Just the hook. You could flick it and it was majorly loose. Now The latch, hook,is solid. Almost no wiggle at all. Not the pull latch but the catch itself.

Correct, not the outside handle but that white latch that holds the lid down.
Mine must not rattle as much as yours did but it shouldn't be moving as much as it is unsupported.
I'll have them replace it anyways since it's obviously not supposed to do that.
