O.k. guys I have a question. I have a drivers side front end rattle. Sounds just like a sway bar end link rattle but I replaces both of them and it is still there. All A-arms are tight and it is not in the steering linkage or tie rods.
When I am sitting in place I can move the steering back and forth and there is no rattle. However when I move down the road and steer back and forth I get the rattle and also over large and small bumps in the road.
How can you test ball joints? I have pry bars and cannot see any deflection or movement in them at all.
On the sway bar did you just replace the end links, or did you also replace the frame mounting bushings. These are know to make the noise you described.

I can do those as well pretty cheap. I just hate all of the guess work....
If this is on the 05 Navi, then it could be the bearing plate on the upper mount of the front strut. My mother-in-law's Camry has a rattle like you're describing from worn out bearing plates.
im having the same problem in my navi, i also just replaced the sway bar links but no, i also thought it might have been the fog light but i took them off and the noise is still there
I don't know much about the LLS. Actually, I don't know anything about the LLS. But as far as bearing plates, they bolt to the frame and the strut end bolts through the bearing plate. These may not pertain to you with the LLS. However, you are going to have some kind of spring/shock combo and you may have a loose or worn component there.
So I take it the bearing plates are a separate item and not attached to the strut. Anybody pull the LLS shock up front and have a similar experiences? I am looking for any kind of help at this point.
I have the same on my 06 Navi. When i looked underneath and started shaking things around, I thought the front differential mount bushings were getting wore out because i can push up(actually hitting it) to get some play. I have to look at it again this weekend...
This is an oldie, but worth an update. A couple years ago, I got used low mile struts and a steering rack for the Camry. While replacing everything I found the sway bar bushing that mount to the frame were loose. After replacing everything, I confirmed the rattle was still there...sway bar bushings! I loosened the bolts, split a piece of heater house, stuffed it in there and no more rattle.
