I used LMC cab mount, a large wide thin gauge of stamped sheet metal. 3 yrs of use and it failed. Cracked. The drivers side was replaced with one from Dennis C. oem type that was of much heavier gauge steel. Both installed close to the same time. After installing the Right side first which had to cut the outer side some so that it would fit into place right. Then looking at doing the driver side was a bit more having to cut clutch rod hole E-brake cable in the way is when, I sent off and got the D.C oem one. I''m sure glad, I did. Then I trash canned the extra left lmc one. Hope you guys have better luck then, I did with those cheap sure to fail in a few yrs. An not by rusting out.or off roading. Just a heads up. It's the old story come true. You get what you pay for. See link below 4 photo

orich Old Blue My 1971 Ford F250 4x4 - Body & cab upgrades
I'm installing a set as we speak and will probably beef up mine before installing on frame. crew cab F-260 and had to stand up and had to back up my service truck to cab to do work. Need about a 2' tall step or better to do work. floorpans also being worked. bought some 1/16" plate and formed it myself. Heavier than the factory stuff and diamond skid plate. the LMC stuff is lighter than the factory mounts for sure. upgrades will be added on after confirming what I was thinking about. thanks from wyoming.
