Power steering head replacement

What's involved in replacing a power steering head (i think that's what it's called)? mine's pouring ps fluid and im not sure how's best to remove it.

un doing a couple bolts the one going to the engine and the one attached to the bracket and unplug the hose

yeah but if your taking the pulley off you need a special tool

Are you talking about the gearbox or the pump?

talking about the power steering gear box. heavy cast iron thing that connects to steering shaft.

Do you have a little more info on the truck? F-150/250? 2wd/4wd? It makes a difference. Either way, the ones I have done were pretty straight forward, not bad at all.
Another option. Where is it leaking? Mine was leaking BAD out of the seal where the steering shaft hooks up. I bought the seal for $6 at O'Reilly and it was easy to replace. This was probably 4 years ago and it has been fine ever since.
