Hey ford fans. I have a 68 3/4 f250, 390 with some kind of electriconic ignition, it has been converted. I can not find a modular or box so i think the conversion is in the distributor itself. Question is where do i hook up the green wire from the new summit tachometer

i just bought. Will it be safe to hook to the negative on the coil????.

I believe that is correct the green wire goes to the - side of the coil, mine does.

What do you see when you take the cap off the dist.?

their is a rotor of course, and a small rectangular box with a black and red wire going to the coil. I think that's what i saw. It is pointless.

yes

It shows pertronix as well, and more, hard to read. So that is the module, i assume? So if it is like yours, then to the negative side of the coil should be OK. Thank You very much.
