E4OD OD light
My 94 150 5.8L does not turn the light on when the OD is turned off it never works. Also some times when I push the button to take it out of OD it does not work, some time and I end up pushing it a few times before it works.
Can I fix those two issues or do I have to replace the shift lever?

Take the plastic cover off of the steering column. Examine the wires where the enter the shifter handle. Usually they either wear through the insulation or just break there. Either repair the wires or replace the shifter handle.
