sliding rear window wireing

sliding rear window wireing

Hey guys i have an 06 f150 fx4 and it came with a sliding rear window but found out it dont work. well i looked into it and found out that it has no wires running from the switch to the motor (if there even is a motor i havnt checked) i was just wondering if many come like this and if they do how hard and expensive is it to wire??

Have you pulled the rear seat back and looked to see if there is a motor or anything in place?

no i havnt i did look and see that there was cables attatched to the window .. but i guess this dont mean that it has a motor .. right?

theoretically anything could be missing in between the switch and the window. You will have to do some investigative work and determine what you will need to make it work. You might want to get a service manual such as a chiltons or haynes to see what is missing and do some troubleshooting.
