Breaking Down the 2019 Super Duty Order Guide

Quite a few folks are also excited about the new B&O sound system, which has proven superior to the old Sony option.

“The B&O system just sounds better than the Sony,” said Tx.Hoon. “I had the Sony in a 2011 and have the B&O in the ’18 F-150. It is still not great, but much better than the Sony system. Honestly, I think it comes down to marketing and who pays Ford the most to put their name in the trucks, but the B&O does sound better than the Sony did. I know it is all subjective, but I like the B&O.”

Despite the improvements, it doesn’t look like pricing on the 2019 Super Duty is much more than the 2018, either! Though getting one with inflatable seatbelts still appears to be difficult.

“My salesman forwarded me a copy of my order acknowledgment. It looks like the system accepted it Friday afternoon,” said RPFB. “In any case, it looks like the 2019 is about $325 more than my 2018 order was and the inflatable rear seatbelts are STILL on material hold!”
