Even Tesla Relies on Ford for its Service Trucks

Ford F-250 Tesla Service truck

Redditor spots Tesla-owned F-250 getting serviced at a Ford dealership. (We aren’t surprised.)

A picture recently posted on Reddit by user Killer Reindeer has us Ford fans cracking up. The picture shows a Tesla service truck parked at a Ford dealership. Oh, did we mention that Tesla uses a Ford F-250 for their company’s service trucks? What can we say? Elon knows a good truck when he sees it.

Some on Reddit wondered if this was some sort of Tesla EV test pickup. Yeah, it’s not. Killer Reindeer checked the pickup out and he reported it was indeed a Ford F-250 with Tesla branding. “I took this last night while at a Ford dealer, where it was clearly just getting serviced, so there’s no way its a test EV. LOL.”

Tesla has talked about building their own pickup one day, but so far the reception has been less than warm. Unless you like riding in a big futuristic robot shoe.

In the meantime, it’s all good, Elon. We promise we won’t tell.
