The pros of announcing a truck in early 2015 that won’t be available until model year 2017 are obvious. Ford, with the 2017 Raptor, has ample time to build up the anticipation for one of their hottest-selling trucks.

The 2017 Ford Raptor, announced at this year’s North American International Auto Show, has some firsts for both the Raptor and the Ford Motor Company itself.

We saw the brand new Ford GT, the race-ready Ford Shelby GT350R, and the 2017 Ford Raptor. They all had one thing in common; they were all painted Liquid Blue. But, you probably won’t be able to get that color.
