High Ford F-150 Inventory, New Incentives Make Now a Good Time to Buy

With around 28k Ford F-150 pickups sitting on dealer lots and zero percent financing or low lease payment deals, the iron is indeed hot.

It was just last November that we saw the first of a trio of fires at a New York-based Novelis plant break out, a big problem for The Blue Oval as that is one of its largest suppliers of aluminum – used in the mega-popular Ford F-150 and Super Duty pickups. As a result, production of those models took a big temporary hit, though FoMoCo quickly conjured up a plan to compensate by boosting future output of both. Now, it’s facing a problem with having a bit too much leftover Ford F-150 inventory, it seems.

According to Ford’s February sales report, the automaker had around 28,000 F-150 pickups either on dealer lots or in transit as of the end of last month, meaning that there’s a decent number of leftover 2025 model year pickups to choose from at the moment. Thus, it’s also no surprise to learn that The Blue Oval has launched some pretty enticing discounts that are aimed at moving those trucks.

While these deals will vary based on one’s location, the Ford F-150 is eligible for zero percent financing for up to 60 months on select 2025 and 2026 models, so long as one utilizes Ford Credit, as is usually the case. Well-qualified buyers can also defer their first payment for up to 90 days, to boot. 2025 F-150 XLT trucks are eligible for Retail Customer Cash offers ranging from $4,250 to $7,000, which is a nice deal for folks looking at that specific trim.

The 2026 F-150 STX is also getting its own $6,500 manufacturer’s rebate, which is great news for what was the best-selling such trim in the lineup recently. First responders, college students, and military members can snag the usual extra $500-$1,000 off the sticker price of a new pickup, and there are some offers targeted at those who prefer to lease their new Ford F-150, too.

The best of that bunch might just be the 2025 Ford F-150 STX 4×4 with the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, which can be leased for anywhere from $359 to $479 per month for 36 months, with $4,500-$5,800 down. It’s a great deal for folks that don’t need all the luxuries that higher trims offer, and they’re snagging a pretty capable and efficient powertrain in the process.

In any case, these incentives will vary, as previously mentioned, so one will want to check and see what’s available in their specific area. Regardless, these offers are set to run through the end of March, so there’s plenty of time to track down your next truck.
