Plenty of cool Ford trucks are ready to roll into this month’s Mecum Auction in Harrisburg, PA, which kicks off July 31.
This year’s Mecum auction in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is sure to thrill with plenty of exciting Ford trucks on the slate. Mecum is always enjoyable, but this particular collection features a handful of Ford trucks that we would all love to own.
The Mecum’s Harrisburg 2019 auction is set to take place July 31 through August 3. Here’s a list of our favorite Ford trucks that will soon be rolling into PA!
1990 Ford F-150 Pickup
Two-tone Ford trucks are our weakness. They just always look so damn cool. Case in point: This badass 1990 Ford F-150 that sports a 5.8L V8 engine under the hood, and according to its stats, it has only racked up 32,275 actual miles from new! This gem from the Grunge Era also has power windows and locks, a tilt steering wheel, brand new tires, and even better, that’s its original paint covering this rust-free beauty.
1962 Ford E100 Pickup
The E100 is easily one of the most lovable “ugly ducklings” out there. This particular vehicle still has its original paint! It houses a 170 Cl inline 6 with three on the tree. Mileage is only 12,547. This truck would make a great addition to any collection.
1948 Ford F1 Stake Bed Pickup
The F1 stake bed pickup sports a 6-cylinder engine, manual transmission, and is quite the truck, with timeless good looks and utility. The yellow on this vehicle truly pops and mixes well with the tan leather seats and black floors. A full frame-off restoration has this truck in immaculate condition.
1967 F100 Ranger Pickup
This ’67 Ranger Pickup just looks so good! Dual exhaust, 3-speed automatic transmission, 390 Cl engine, and a trailer hitch round out the rest of the classic work truck features.
1968 Ford Bronco
What’s better than a Bronco? A Bronco Pickup? Quite the unique truck wherever you go. Imagine the off-road capability combined with the convenience of a truck bed. This truck is sure to grab attention wherever it goes.
1956 Ford F-100 Pickup
One of the few resto-mods in the lineup, this truck really shines. Style may be a matter of preference, but no one can deny the quality of work put into the paint. Under the hood, there lies a 460 Ford Racing engine, with all kinds of care put into it to help you go fast. The updated tan interior works well in this truck and looks comfortable. Some lucky buyer is getting a true one-of-a-kind vehicle this August.
1930 Ford Panel Pickup
This is a rare find. The Ford Panel Pickup is genuinely unique, and this particular truck has a very noticeable “Babe the Blue Ox” color to it. With an enclosed bed, it’s not hard to imagine all the work it could have accomplished in its prime. A neat piece for any collector.
1968 Ford Bronco U14
The color on the U14 Bronco is absolutely stunning. Only 257 vehicles left the factory with this trim and paint code, so it’s a rare bird indeed. This Bronco also retains its original engine and transmission.
1956 Ford F-100 Pickup
Some like it low. This slammed and bagged 1956 F-100 has style, and a 468 CI big block engine. Complete with a chopped top, tilt column, AC, and electronic controls it could pass for a wicked cool daily.
1991 F-250 Peterbilt Scale Replica
This 1991 F-250 masquerades as a Peterbilt and does it well. It also comes with plenty of amenities, like heated power seats, AC and a back-up camera.
1930 Model A Texaco Wrecker
This Model A Texaco Wrecker might be the coolest one in the batch. Plus, you could actually tow with it! Maybe just a Fiat, but you could tow! The seating and door panels are impressively clean and match the soft top well. Overall, the truck looks astounding. Oh, and it comes with a Texaco mannequin.
1964 Ford Falcon Ranchero
Move over El Camino, there’s a much cooler cruiser truck in town. A factory V8, 4-speed transmission, and Edelbrock 4-barrel carb mean this ’64 Ford Falcon Ranchero can move. The black interior and driver’s side spotlight certainly stand out, too.
