Flashy paint jobs, blinding chrome, and massive wheels and tires are great. Those things can really transform an old truck, turning it from ’60s neat to modern beast. But sometimes it’s nice just to leave your Bronco as Ford intended. With tiny little tires and all.

With all the heavily modified early Broncos running around these days, sometimes you forget what an original one looks like. This 1970 Bronco serves as a reminder, one that is almost completely devoid of brightwork and fancy and unnecessary extras.

Nothing but original Bronco to be seen here, and it’s a nice one to boot after a meticulous restoration that spanned 10 years. It’s one of only 599 Sky Blue Broncos built in 1970, and it has a 302 under the hood. Making things even better, that V8 has only 75,857 original miles on it.
