Did dealer screw up my order??!!! - "91G" question
I do NOT have a fleet #.
Dealer says I do not need a fleet # for 91G when I asked if I could order this option as it is not on FORD.COM order page,...he said it was on his order guide, so we are good to go.
While tracking my delivery, I notice no mention of carpet delete, remote start, or 91G. I text him asking about those options 3 times, 2 weeks before delivery,.............crickets. (I figured maybe because "accessory and not option" they don't show on tracking build, so I let it slide thinking they will be on my truck when it arrives)
Truck arrives,.. NO carpet delete,.. NO remote start,,,,, NO tailgate lock,.. and NO 91G beacon lights!!!
They give me a "we owe" for the remote start and tailgate lock. I then find out they plan on installing an "aftermarket" remote start in my brand-new truck?!!! WTF!!!! There has GOT to be better OEM options even if not factory installed - as my order showed?? But I will bring that up in a different post, sorry for getting side tracked! LOL
So here is my issue for THIS post,....I ask salesman where is my 91G beacon strobes??? He says "OH, they are fleet only, we could not order them without FIN#." (I was never told that until my truck arrived, and I never agreed to MY order being "changed")
So,..
A) I asked that before ordering and he said NOT fleet -only, I can order that for you without FIN#
B) After taking truck home I realize on page 19 of order guide they CAN be installed on a non fleet truck!!!. SO I am guessing he lied?!!
So, for NOW, my only question is,...can you order 91G Amber/White 360 beacon strobes on a non-fleet truck??!!! (I DID order and DO have upfitter switches)
Not sure why page 19 shows it as a retail option, nowhere do I see FLEET ONLY option
And oh 1 more thing!!!!,...when I complained about these issues 3 days later with an email to GM,...I get a response back NOT form GM, but from sales manager, and his B.S. response back also included, and I quote "Brian (salesman) is no longer with the company"
There is a lot more to complain about when I asked for simple fixes on all these issues,....but again I will save that for another post!!
I Just want to know if I am correct and 91G strobes could be ordered by non-fleet customer, for now,

or move on, nothing dealer can do at this point. Screaming at them, they will just tell you to move on. This is a bit rediculous to be honest.
i could see if the trucks was dented, body work done, or it showed wrong motor, cab, etc. just simple add one isn’t a big deal.
remote start maybe, could be the only downfall. You’d have to see if you could live without.
Did they appear on the downloadable window sticker that became available once a VIN had been assigned (typically before the truck is built)?

Sounds like you are ridiculous saying I should accept a truck that I ordered that came w/ 4 missing items that I purposely ordered. If they are no big then I would not have ordered them. Maybe not a big deal to you but I never asked your opinion if you thought it was a big deal. I asked if 91G was available as a retail order without a FIN #. And why should I have to pay for aftermarket strobe lights and floor mats when I ordered a truck with OEM strobe lights, and carpet delete. I do not want anybody splicing wires in my brand-new truck that I ordered factory OEM parts for and will be covered by my warranty,...not void it!!
Oh, and my truck had 18 chips between all 3 panels of my driver side door that fortunately the dealership fixed by "buffing them out". I am the one who noticed them, sso not sure how that possibly passed their quality control and was "ready" for the customer to take off the lot. So do not act like I am bitching about nothing and being ridiculous. I have shown complete a patience and offered multiple simple fixes for the other mistakes. Ford calls this a "breach of contract,..not me!.
Even if the strobes are a fleet only option, I should have been contacted by the dealership and signed off on it. They altered MY build. ,..... 4 times without me agreeing, obviously.
But back to the reason I started this thread,.....on page 19 of the 2026 order guide I see 91G as an option and nowhere does it say fleet only option.
I am asking if this is correct and did the dealer lie to me when I picked my truck up when they told me 91G is fleet only.
THAT is my question, and the reason I clearly posted THAT question.
So, is 91G a fleet only option to anyone who may know???

But again, I am just trying to figure out if 91G is an option available to customers without a FIN #, before I deal with the regional manager who will be calling me soon, as I called Ford Corporate Customer Relations about my "not a big deal. deal with the lies, bitching" haha
If anybody does not have the answer to the 91G question,...please do not respond.

That is the only question. This post is not about me bitching (Yes I did bitch!!), or anything else,....but I clearly stated that I only want to know if 91G needs a FIN #.
I got a "we owe" agreement for the remote start and tailgate lock,...nothing they can do about the carpet delete
all I asked is is 91G a fleet only option,
is 91G fleet only option. This is all I am asking. This is not a discussion about the other missing items
