Will new exhaust void warranty?

Does anyone know if changing the exhaust system or muffler voids the factory warranty? I have a 2010 XLT 5.4 and wouldn't mind a better sound and some gain in power.

no it wont - dealr might give you hard time but it would be agaisnt the law if they tried.

all you really get is sound so just change the muffler unless you are going for the dual look. Most dynos I have done on my cars show a loss in power on stock motor and one supercharged motor. (that is with & with out custom tunes) A tune will give you more power but you wont notice it much in real world driving 15 - 30 hp gross - 15 -18% for rwhp. Simply remove the cat you will get best gain but it will trigger a CEL (idiot light) a tune can turn off the code. remove the muffler might give you the sound your looking for and no cel will show up.

Won't void the warranty but will waste your money... Have you listened to the stock exhaust note from outside? Sounds pretty good to me, but you'd hardly notice from inside the cab because these trucks are so quiet inside.

Has anyone just R&R the muffler with straight pipe? How does that sound I wonder. I work too hard for my money to just waste it

it won't void the warrenty. i have a magnaflow cat back system on mine. sounds awesome. and i like the two chrome tips. but as everyone else said. you won't see any power or milege gains.

I had a Flowmaster Series 50 on my 07F150, sounded great.
Can't wait to get something on this '10F150, stock sound is just way too whimpy.
