Gearhead. It would appear that he is on the wrong side of the Atlantic Ocean. His profile says that he is somewhere in the UK.

Hi
Yes on the other side of the pond
Just really need the one, the engine actually ran everything works, we drove it 90 miles as it was to get it back home. Top speed was about 30 at a struggle, you can imagine the tailback. It was only when we took the head off and realised why it was runnig so badly.
Not sure if we can manage shipping a whole block, thank you.
Cannot find details on this model on the net, we know it was an ambulance in the Dutch Army and had a turret on the passenger side as you can see the steelwork on the inside, now filled in.

I emailed Stu, truckdog, and told him to stop in. He's the wheel and MH guru of the board. He posted pictures of a truck like Chill51's a while back:

Chill,

Have you checked the classified section of this site? There are sometimes parts trcuks posted on there. I would check e-bay as well. Most folks will sell to the UK. If not, let me know through PM and I would be happy to help you out.

Thre are also a number of folks that still sell engine parts. Unfortunately, I'm not that far along so I have not yet developed my sources for these.

Found this thread on the HAMB site. You might try contacting one of these folks for some help locating parts.

http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...d.php?t=278747

YOu might also try this site. It is not nearly as well populated as the FTE site but you may find some help here:

http://www.fordsix.com/rules.php

Also, check out the flathead forum on the FTE site. You might get some more specialized help there.

Chill51 - Great looking truck. I wish mine were that body style, but I don't think any like it were kept on this side of the ocean. At least none have turned up over here that I know of. Besides yours and the green one that Bob posted the pics of, there is another that is owned by our member who goes by the name "Sickman". I think he is in the Netherlands or Belgium, I forget which. Here are pics of it from his profile. Good luck finding your parts. Stu
