Cab roof crossmember

I posted before and someone sent me a pic. I saved this pic but had further questions. Now I cann't determine who sent the pic. I am trying to position the cross member that goes from where the rearview mirror is mounted to just above the back window. It's the back part I need to position. This is where the dome light is. Any, It has room to move up and down and I fear I'll position it improperly. Whomever sent the pic to me can you give me measurements too? If I were to measure from the cab metal to the bottom of the dome light hole how far would that be? It looks like there is two alignment holes one in the cab metal the other in this cross member. I wondering if they are alignment wholes or of more significance. Any additional help would be appreciated. thanks

What year is your truck? In your profile it says '68, did you maybe get the picture from somebody in the '68 portion of the forum. I can measure mine today if you would like but not sure the '58 had the same measurements. Let us know.

1968 versus 1956 F100 roof cross member

In this request I meant to ask for measurements on my 1956 F100 not my 1968.

Sorry for the confussion, would love to have to make a clarification like that. I am not sure if the measurements are the same on the '58 as the '56, let me know if you dont find a '56 to get it from and I will send you the measurements from mine. Something is better than nothing at some point.

Can you post the picture so that the person who sent it to you might recognize the picture, I seem to remember posting a pic like that but there was others who did also.

Was this the pic by any chance? If so explain exactly where you want the measurement from and I'll get back to you. Mine is on a panel mind you.
