I have a 2008 F 150 Super Crew. I have a noise that increases with speed. It is a buzzing noise that appears to be coming from the cowl area. I have replaced one of the cowl retainers which made no difference at all. I also have driven with the passenger wiper arm removed. I am pretty sure the noise is coming from that side of the vehicle. The noise starts around 50 and reaches a peak at about 70 mph. The cowl is looser fitting on the passenger side but I can't tell if that is the source of the noise. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any help would be appreciated.
I'm sorry I missed your reply the other day. For some reason I could not find the original post. I have taken the antenna off and still have the noise. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Hmmm...In the middle of your dash, kinda' towards the top is this little **** marked "Volume". Turn it clockwise until the noise goes away.
