Question Cyclone or Tornado

Have any of you guys tried one of these devices? It is priced cheap enough and I'm considering purchasing one for the slight boost in mpg. Let me know your thoughts.

Many thanks.

They don't work.

Popular Mechanics did a test a couple years ago on these and they got no increase in MPG.

Best thing is to change the way you drive.

Neither, Snake Oil gimmick designed to prey on people who want an easy "cheap" way to get better mileage

The only thing either one does is make the seller richer.

They are junk, save your 15 dollars or how ever much they are and put it in your tank.

I appreciate your comments. I just thought with the 120 day guarantee that they might actually work. It's still tempting to try just to see.

You can go ahead and blow your money so you can learn for yourself. I will also tell you that fire will hurt you but I guess that you will still need to stick your hand into the campfire in order to find out.

As for the guarantee ( ) you would never collect a refund of the purchase price. Shipping and Handling fees would most likely take half or more. I guarantee that.

I was ready to jump on this thread, but pretty much everything that needs to be said about these "gimmick" products has been said.

Side note. My Brother bought one for each of his vehicles and swears up and down he picked up 5-6mpg accross the board.

....he's also wiped out on Percocet most of the time as well though, so take that testimony for what its worth.

Sure, a hydrogen generator makes about enough extra power that you don't notice the power being used by the alternator to generate the hydrogen.
No free lunch to be had-

It was just a thought. I'm just looking for ways to pick up mpg without altering my driving habits. Thanks for the input.

Jack up your tire pressure to 45psi, add a tonneau cover to limit highway drag, add a set of under drive pulleys, swap out your mechanical water pump for an electric one, ditch the factory clutch fan for an electric one, alter the ECU tune via an XCal 3, Diabolosport, EDGE, etc, etc.

There are plenty of legitimate ways to increase efficiency and fuel economy....and power to boot.

Supercharger works also. I went from 12 mpg driving somewhat spirited to about 12.5 mpg driving like an idiot with my blower

I can only guess what it would have been like with better driving habits
