What does code P1247 mean on the 5.4 engine? Thanks

 

i keep finding turbo boost pressure. that don't sound right.

 

I know, I just had that one with my diesel, maybe its a diesel with a gas outershell, heh heh.

 

that would be nice. i googled the code and checked my superchips code book and that's what it says. sure that's the number?

 

yeah I had to do a double take because I didnt think it was right.

 

You need to fully identify the subject vehicle including year, engine, transmission, drivetrain, and any significant modifications including tuners, etc.

Otherwise, anyone interested in looking up the fault code has no idea where to look.

its a 2001 F250 4x4 with the 5.4 V8,auto trans with a hypertech programmer.

 

I'd blame it on the Hypertech. Call them.

That code was only used by Ford on some of their diesels, therefore, I think the tune is wrong.
