In the last 6 months a P1247 was set twice under the following conditions. Once when pulling a horse trailer up hill, cleared code and three months later, yesterday while the truck was empty and going up an incline to get on the freeway. P1247 is a low boost code.
I've installed a new up pipe (old one was rusted out) 4 months ago and a big head actuator from Banks (6 months ago). I hauled the 10' cabover camper in August (4500 miles) without the code being set.
If your truck has set the P1247 code. Where did you find the problem to be and what was the remedy to fix?
I've tightened down the boots and they look in good shape. Could the Big Head Actuator be out of adjustment?

Reason: additional info
Leaking uppipes are another cause of low boost. Have you looked around the connections for soot? Also, you could have a bad MAP sensor that may be reading
incorrectly.
