Give Me A Break Plz

Ok I've talked to about everyone on this website about my 88 ford f-150 and after all the conversations and it all boiled down to the computer well i put the computer on it and it fixed it brand new motor brand new computer brand new everything well all was fine till I TURNED MY HEATER IN MY TRUCK ON well the very instant i turned my heater on BAMM there went the new computer come to find out i had a plug in the wrong place the whole time but i've got me another computer coming so maybe it'll fix her this time

Sorry to hear that . I mark every thing and still there r those wire u can't read where go at end and its a guessing game. . Hate to see people have problems like that . Good luck

Ha I figured out why it blew my computer i had the oxygen sensor plug plugged in to my egr valve and had some other plug plugged into the plug for the egr plug god thats alota plugs sorry for the confusion lol

Oh man... How did that happen!?! The EGR isn't even close to the o2 sensors!!

O.k Nuther ?

On my truck on the passenger side there is a plug thats close to the ac stuff on the firewall and in my chilton book tells me that its the o2 sensor wire and then there is a plug with only 2 wires in it and the theres the egr valve plug I got the egr valve plug right and now i cant figure out where the other two go and i know they dont plug into each oter different connectors. And would puttin a k&n filter on my truck mess with the way it runs cuz i put hat new computer on it and it misses when i get on it and I know it aint the plugs or wires

I know ima pain lol but thanks guys for everyones help

Do you have your 7 and 8 plug wires separated for as long as possible? If you have heard of this issue, my bad. Here's a spark plug wiring diagram that I found helpful.

Talking 5.8 Pics

well I drove the truck for the first time friday purred like a kitten o it ran so perfect and its still running perfect but that still just kicks me in the gahonies cuz i dont know where those two plugs go and thanks for the diagrams i saved em for future refrence (hehe) but they still just dont tell me what i need to know ill take a pic of the two plugs and see if youns will have any idea then and all of you guys with the 5.8's take a good close pic of the pass side of the engine bay that might help me out a lil bit

well my ole trucks still runnin good but at idle its floodin itself i guess where those plugs ain't plugged up and im only gettin 8mpg so theres something wrong lol but if anybody out there has any good detailed pics of there motor id just love to take a good hard look at em lol thankee

Well mines much later than yours (like Chris's) but one of my o2 hook ups comes up from next to the starter inside the convolute tube along with the ground cable. (The photo is not really useable, its just to one-up Chris )
