Computer Help

I just bought a new laptop and want to give my old one to my parents. It seems most computers don't come with a system CD anymore so I don't want to reformat just to clear all the old stuff off. Is there some tool in Windows XP that lets me clear everything but keep the OS, kinda like resetting to when it was a brand new computer? Thanks!

Some manufacturers put an 'Image' program on the pc to allow you to burn a CD for restoring the pc to the original 'as new' configuration.

Most people don't bother to make these CDs and have to either download the software from the manufacturer's website, or bite the bullet and buy the OS and download the drivers from the manufacturer.
