400 Connecting Rods for sale

Hey guys, I just found this site, its great.
I couldnt find a for sale section so I hope its ok to post this here.

I have a set of 400 rods for sale. I had them reconditioned to do a buildup of a LongRod 351W but plans fell through (when I found out the custom pistons were gonna cost $200 each!). Anyway they are original Ford factory forged rods, they have been resized, FPI crack checked, they have ARP rod bolts in them, they have had the forging flash on the beams ground down to reduce stress raisers, and they are match balanced - big end and small end.
THey have been setting in a box for a few years now but are in good shape. I put them away nice and oily so there is only a hint of surface rust here and there.

I would like to get $50 for them if that sounds fair. Send me a private message if you are interested. I can email pics, just send your email address.

All rods for these engines were forged. Very few engines of that era used cast rods.

Hey, welcome to FTE! Hope this little 'setback' doesn't keep you from hanging out here... You can actually get a lot of great info that doesn't even pertain to trucks specifically, such as engine and transmission forums.
