perches

I'm putting a 1976 351w into my 1986 f-150 that currently has a 300 6cyl.
Where can i buy 351w perches for my 86 4x4???

I am under the impression that the I6 and the Windsor family of motors share the same perches. Now the mounts are probably different...

I6 and Windsor perches are different. Just get a set of 302 or 351w perches from a wrecker (from 80-96 truck) or parts supplier and you'll be all set.

I6 and the "FE" motors use the same perches.

Also if you have a 4wd, then you need the correct perches from another 4wd.
2wd & 4wd perches are not interchangable.

I believe in his 86 that 2wd and 4x4 perches would be the same, since both use the same frame in those years. 73-79 however, the perches are indeed different between 2wd and 4x4.
