Black Fx4 With 35" Nitto's
Just got my wheels and tires on, rides great, im going to raise the back 2" more still waiting on the blocks! I could not wait for the pro comp 6" coilover kit anymore! I sort of like it at this height anyway, it's alot higher than you would think, It's funny just got them on last night, pulled up to get gas 8:00 this morning pulled right next to a brand new black titan, his truck was pretty sweet but there was no comparison, i was towering over him, he ask me how i liked the new f 250's, i said i dont know, i dont think there coming out till 2006!

I added a 1/2" plate with some rubber gaskets in addition to the daystar, you do have to do some work on the inner fender and the inside lip of the molding, wasn't to bad, but its not a bolt on and go, with the rims i used anyway! I thought with the 1/2" i added i would not have to mess with anything but it still rubed, Im still adding 2" to rear, blocks did not come yet.

Hey DJCRISS,
Very, very nice job on the truck. Best set up I've seen yet. Just curious. I've had a problem with the stock ride on my truck as the box seems to shimmy a lot going over small bumps. I think there is a larger issue, but I was also thinking that maybe putting on a leveling kit would put more weight back on the rear of the vehical to give a better ride. Am I just wacked or did you notice a better-than-stock ride after the kit? How smooth is your ride with that large of rubber? What aftermarket shocks did you use?
Thanks man!

What Nitto's are those? 325/60R18's or 20's!!
I have the same tires on Eagle wheels 18x9. I get just a little rub
when fully cranked one way but the tires are 13 inches wide and the stick out from fender wells even with the nerf bars and I LOVE the look. I only have the Daystar leveling kit. When the bodylifts arrive on the market going to get 3" more then go to the 325/65R18's to get an additional 1.5 inches for total of 4.5 more height.
Nice truck!!!

Thanks, i think we all got the shimmy over the little bumps syndrome!! I have never drove a truck that was so smooth, in one sence and bumpy in another, it dose ride nice with the new tires, better than stock, i cant say that, still have the stock shocks, when i raise the back i was thinking about the pro comp or the eldelbrock xtreme travel shocks with the reservoir kit, so i can adjust the stiffness!

Thanks, Black B, ya there 325/60/20 had to do a little work on the inner for it to work , i also did a 1/2 plate with some real nice gaskets on top of the daystar, still rubed, then i did some work on the inner fender! You think i should go pull the fx stickers? what kind of grill are you going to go with, im leaning towards those ss grills like on those yellow 150's, i always had the billit grills on other trucks, i sort of like'n the racer grill look! I really want the 2006 lincoln truck grill, but thats not hapnin!!
