Smile Hello from MI and DC

After much waiting I pulled the trigger and got an Excursion,
I got tired of small SUV's and drove one for 6 years overseas and loved it.

Its 2004 Black V10 with 200,000, I know high on the miles but as much as I tried finding a Black one, it became a challenge.

My plans, replace the headlights (found some nice ones in amazon), R&R all the oils and fluids, New plugs (with all the horror stories might just let the dealer do those), Injectors and coils, and all the new front steering stuff(its wandering), new serpent belt and pulleys as starters.

If you think of anything else let me know.
Good to be here and hope to learn from you guys.

Hi Warx and welcome to FTE. Congrats on your Excursion, if you treat the engine good you can get many many more miles out of it with a little bit of work.

You will definitely find a lot of Excursion lovers here at FTE as well as Ford fans, and the one thing with this community that you will see is that the folks here are very knowledgeable and always willing to help a fellow Ford owners solve a problem or answer a question.

Don't forget to join your local chapter from you state and meet your fellow Ford fans from your area, and when you have a moment feel free to upload some pics of your Excursion to your garage for us all to see.

You can also add pics as you tinker with things to your new Ford. Hope you enjoy the forums and we will see you in the threads! Cheers.
