possible tranny swap
#2
you'll probably need the ECM from the vehicle that had the 4r100 & probably the wiring harness.
Also you will need to check to see if the transfer case is a direct bolt up?? The splines maybe different on input side and output...so you may have to find a transfer case from for a 4r100 and then make sure you have the same engagement...is a manual or electric. And the possibility of relocation the transmission mount.
Which leads to the drive shaft...Pretty sure that the 4r100 is a longer tranny and if the T-case is bigger or not to?? which will change the length of the drive shaft.
In short it is possible but A LOT of other stuff needs to happen too. Not trying to rain on your parade , but from what I understand these things need to be considered

A 4R100 can be swapped in place of a 4R70W, but it's far from a simple swap. First, The 4R100 has to be completely torn down to replace the output shaft. The shaft that is in there won't mate to a transfer case.
As mentioned above, the trans mount and neither driveshaft will fit. The 4R100 is longer, so the front driveshaft has to be lengthened and the rear one shortened. They will need to be modified. The wiring won't work, and neither will the computer.
So with enough time and money you can get this done. But it's going to take some time and a pile of money.
