cost to swap engines

Thinking of solutions for my e450. What would be a fair price to plug in for shop labor on removing/replacing the engine? Whether I fix the engine in it or swap in a reman, the engine has to come out.

How'd you determine the engine needs to come out?

I don't have alldata in front of me, I can check the labor time tomorrow, unless someone beats me to it.

Look on eBay for a good used engine if not try car-part.com most engines I get off there come with a warranty.

Then would you stud it delete it etc?

I read on one of the threads here that you have to take the engine out to remove heads. My van might need headgaskets.
