The engine in my 2008 2.3 Escape went out with around 193k miles on it and I am looking for cheaper options for a replacement. I can't find any definite answers as to which engines will fit though. I found a 2008 fusion 2.3 engine for less than half the cost of an escape engine, but am not sure if it will directly swap. Has anyone done this swap before and if so did other parts need to be swapped as well?
